In the book “Living without cancer” Dr. Joseph Brenner reviles his own experience in the treatment of cancer looking from 3 different angles: As a conventional oncologist, as an expert in integrative cancer care and as a cancer victim himself who experienced both conventional and integrative cancer treatments and Hyperthermia.
Dr. Joseph Brenner is an Oncologist and an expert in cancer integrative medicine, is the founder and the director of “New-Hope” Medical Center for Hyperthermia and integrative cancer treatments in Tel-Aviv. He is the founder and the former director of the Department of Oncology at the Wolfson Medical Center in Holon and currently is the director of the Oncology Medical Tourism unit at the Wolfson Medical Center.
Hyperthermia is a treatment method that uses heat for the destruction of malignant cells in the body. Using modern equipment, heat above 42 centigrade is applied to tumor areas in the body. Hyperthermia treatments are not associated with any burning sensations or pain. Hyperthermia treatments can be given alone or in conjunction with chemotherapy or with radiations.
